The host Brazil is taking on Argentina in a much anticipated Copa America 2019 Semi-final match at Estádio Mineirão. The match is slated for July 2, Tuesday. However, the Brazilian skipper Thiago Silva is still wary of Leo Messi in the semi-final match. Brazil had squeezed through semi-final thanks to the nail-biting spot kick battle against Paraguay. Similarly, Argentina had defeated Venezuela 2-0 in much more improved match than that of group stages.
“He is the best player in the world and he still could spring to life,” Silva told in a news conference on Saturday.
“We will have to be especially focused on him when we have the ball and when we don’t. Sometimes he can be at walking pace during a game but he’s always looking for space to launch a counterattack.
“It’s a privilege to be able to face him again and we’ll have to try and put the brakes on him.” He added.

Last meeting !
The is the first time after around 12 years that these two teams are going to play each other in a tournament. Brazil and Argentina last played in Copa America 2007 final, which Brazil won 3-0. That was the first final that Messi lost with Argentina.
Messi is yet to be at his best in this Copa America with only a goal coming, that is also from a spot kick. He was unsuccessful several times while dribbling. However, his teammate Angle Di Maria is hopeful that their skipper will come out with his best. He admits that Leo is working very hard even he is not in the score sheet.
